Academy Art & Frame Company is always looking for new artists to exhibit their artwork in our Colorado Springs gallery. One easy way to have your art displayed at our gallery is to join one of our monthly open calls for entry. Our monthly art exhibits feature local art and a reception for guests.     Art Aloud is our annual celebration of art inspired by the written word — open to all artists, all ages, and all media (2D and 3D). No entry fee. Every entry must connect to something of the written word (a poem, song, short story, etc.), and the written piece is displayed alongside your art. Limit 6 works per artist. All work must be original, for sale (subject to up to a 50% gallery commission across the participating venues), and ready to hang with wire (no sawtooth hangers). Artists are responsible for delivering accepted work to the assigned venues after judging. Dates TBA — see the current prospectus.

        Apply to be a vendor at our annual Parking Lot Party & Art Show — held the 3rd Saturday of July, 10am–4pm, in the Academy Art & Frame Company parking lot. A booth fee applies; we’ll follow up with payment instructions and next steps after we review your application. Vendors help cross-promote the event (at least 2 posts before and 1 the day of).           Our 15th annual "How Do You See God?" exhibition is open to all faiths, all ages, and all media — 2D and 3D. No entry fee. Limit 3 works per artist. Size limits: 2D image no larger than 25 sq in (e.g., 5×5 or 4×6); 3D no larger than 125 cubic in excluding base. An entry fee applies ($9 per item hand-delivered; tiered shipping rates) — paid at drop-off or arranged with you separately. All entries must be for sale (30% commission).
