Academy Art & Frame Company (AAFC) is a custom conservation art framing shop and art gallery. We carry the largest selection of frame moulding samples in southern Colorado and we showcase the work of approximately 200 local and regional artists. “How Do You See God?“ is an exhibition that asks our artists to share their thoughts and beliefs through unique works of art. It is open to all faiths and beliefs, as well as all media, all ages, and 2D or 3D works. Each year, we photograph all of the art that is included in the exhibit and create a book with the artists and images. The book will be available by the second reception. This is the 11th year of the exhibition and will be our 10th edition of the book. 2021 features 66 artists and 135 pieces. We will be hosting the 3rd Friday Outdoor Reception June 18, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. We will have vendors, artists and a food truck in the parking lot. And we're preparing for the intake for the How Do You See God? Show. Intake is the last week of June. Mark your calendars for both! We are also reducing the gallery space to accommodate an overflow of new framing orders...thank you Colorado Springs! May is National Military and 1st Responder Appreciation month and each year we have an exhibition to honor these fine men and women who serve. This year is also our first of our summertime outdoor receptions and seen in the video is the art in the exhibit and the artists setting up in the parking lot.
