A PHENOMENAL GROUP OF ARTISTIC WOMEN
The Pikes Peak Branch of the National League of American Pen Women is an organization of professional creative artists, writers and musicians and we were fortunate to meet a number of these talented women at last nights reception. On display through out the month we have artists Cheri Issel, Tanya Cooper, Linda Bridges and Rosie Eylens. At the reception we had authors Sarah Rickman, Nancy Jurka, Angela Raines, and M.J. Brett selling their books and signing. It was a lovely evening of stories and laughter.
Also on display, besides our normal consignment artists, were our Featured AAFC Artist’s Joni Ware and Michael Malta.
The National League of American Pen Women is “creative women who, in recognition for artistic accomplishment, support, encourage and challenge one another as members of a creative community. Founded in 1897, The League…is the oldest arts organization in the United States.” Get more information at www.NLAPW.org and www.PikesPeakPenWomen.com.
