Andre is talented artist working in many media, exploring all realms of art. His work will be on display December 7, 2018 to February 7, 2019. You can meet the artist at the 3rd Friday Receptions December 21 and January 18, 4-8 pm.
“Andre Eddens is a Colorado Springs native and still resides in Colorado with his family.
He has been creating ART now for over 20 years and loves what he does. He didn’t know that he had the talent of drawing or painting until he broke his foot many years ago and was laid up trying to find something to keep himself busy. Someone had challenged him to find his inner artist and he gladly accepted it. He started by sketching little things and it grew from there. Now he can draw, paint and do photography. Currently, he is working with spray paints and has a real passion for it.
In the last 20 years, he has improved his styles and taught himself how to be better and to go for what he wants in life. Art gives him freedom when he has none and taught him how to have freedom.

His work is on display in a local gallery and he is working on opening his own gallery, where people will be able to come in, see his works, watch him create, take classes and even have a place for other artists to come and create.
He has been published in a local art book titled “How Do You See God?” where one of his pieces made the book cover for 2018. He is currently working towards being published in an international art magazine.”
