We are so excited that this October Arts Month we get to showcase some amazing artwork from artists in the Pikes Peak region! Once a year, members of the Pikes Peak Arts Council come together to show off their greatest creations and in 2022 Academy Art & Frame Co. gets to host this amazing network of artists. Showcasing 30 artists and 78 pieces, the exhibit will show throughout the month of October with a 3rd Friday Artist’s Reception on October 21, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. We will have an open mic space from 4:45 to 5:30 for any authors/lyricists/poets who would like to share, starting with poet Ray Whitaker. Celtic Mountain Band will be playing at about 5:30, with their pianist opening with a solo from 4-4:45.
October has traditionally been a benefit month at AAFC and this year 10% of any sales from the exhibit will be donated back to PPAC.
