“I moved to Colorado Springs from Nova Scotia in 1995 to marry my wonderful husband. We have a son and 2 cats. I have always had a deep desire to be creative and found my love of watercolors at a class taught by Lorraine Danzo at the Bemis School of art in 2005. I followed up with many workshops at her home studio. I have taken a workshop taught by Thomas Owen at the Conttonwood School of Art, an intro to Batik taught my Martha Kisling and a watercolor class taught by Robert Gray at the Tri Lakes Art Center. In 2014, I attended a workshop taught by Birgit O’Connor, another of my greatly admired artists. As a member of the Colorado Springs Art Guild I have shown my work in many juried show. I do love to paint wildlife and have done many pet portraits. Painting brings me great joy and even more to be able to share.”
