“Anything Goes!”
Annual Peak Digital Imaging Society Exhibition
Every year, PDIS has an exhibit at AAFC during February. This year the theme is open- “Anything Goes!” The exhibit will be on display from February 2nd until February 28th, 2019. The 3rd Friday Reception is February 15th from 4-8pm. Light refreshments provided. The winners for the High School Ceiling Tiles Competition will also be announced at about 6 pm.
Peak Digital Imaging Society (PDIS) is a digital art and photography club in the Pikes Peak region. Bill Young and Mark Kirkland, both local professional photographers, started PDIS in 2000. The group offers an opportunity for professional and amateur digital artists to get feedback on current works and to stay in the loop with the digital world.
The society meets once a month, 9 months out of the year (August, November and December excluded) on the 4th Thursday from 7-9 pm at Academy Art & Frame Co (AAFC). The meetings include 3 yearly competitions and critiques, mini workshops and speakers including some of the top speakers in professional photography and digital art. Speakers have included John Paul Caponigro, Dan Burkholderm John Fielder and many more.
