COLLECTED WORKS BY LORI BECK
“I am inspired to create my art by the beauty of nature and all its components, sometimes man made. As I continue to interpret what is around me, I try to find my own perspective to tell a story about what I see. My goal in each new piece is to not only render my subject accurately, but also to give it a breath of life. I represent the story in line, value, contrast and color. My media choices include oils, pastels or pencils and the subject matter dictates which one I will use.”
Lorrie’s work is displayed with the small works show and will be on display until Sept. 29. Please come to the 3rd Friday Reception to meet with her and hear her story, Sept. 21, 2018 4-8 pm.
