“I am struck by beauty wherever I go…” Come see the work of oil painter Joni Ware with her breathtaking display “The Beauty of the Earth”. Joni’s work will be on exhibition throughout November and December with a 3rd Friday Artists Reception on November 17, 2023 from 4-7 pm.
We will have music group Foinn Sliabh playing Celtic music for the reception with snacks and some cow shaped cookies!!!
Artist Statement:
I am struck by beauty wherever I go, in open space, in animals and in people. With my art I hope to convey this beauty and connect the viewer with the inspiration I felt when I first saw it, whether it be the raw colors of a sunset, in the soulful eyes of an animal, or the emotion in a human face.
I paint the world realistically as I see it and my medium is oil paint due to its intensity and changeability.
Biography:
Joni grew up in California and studied painting in high school. She married Jim and they began growing their family, moving to Colorado in 1991. When their youngest of 6 was in high school, Joni was able to spend more time pursuing her art. She has shown her works in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Cripple Creek, Colorado and in Laguna Beach, California.
