What’s Going On?

Welcome to our new and improved blog!

Welcome Back! As our world slowly starts to move forward again during this unprecedented time, we want you to know that we are back to work and here for you when you need framing done or need new art for your walls. To keep our staff and customers safe we are implementing the health strategies suggested by the state and CDC. Please wear your mask in the gallery and maintain social distancing and please stay home if you are feeling under the weather. We have paper towel masks and hand sanitizer available when needed and we are disinfecting all surfaces after every new customer. We are working hard to stay healthy so we can continue to serve our customers and community!

With all the changes that Covid-19 is bringing to our everyday lives, we have taken the opportunity to implement some new strategies within our social media marketing and we are learning to utilize some of the tools that we already have at our disposal. This blog post is one of our new/old marketing tools and going forward look for a new weekly post! In each post, be prepared to see information on our new YouTube page, any up and coming events or exhibits, current specials and any other information we find we need to share!

One of our new exploits has been to start a YouTube Channel! This will also be a weekly addition and will bring you creative videos from our Featured AAFC Consignment Artists, a section on custom framing Learn a Little, live videos during our 3rd Friday Receptions and much more! Click Here to check it out and subscribe! Please drop us a line and let us know what you think!

We have 5 videos up: 2- Featured AAFC Artists Richard Risely and Elin Skov Vaeth, 1- Learn A Little, 1- Exhibition and an introduction from Kim Costello. A new video will be posted on Fridays. This Friday May 22, 2020 join Cas for a tour around our gallery and frame shop.

June is a duo show from artists Linda Bridges and Cas Foste. Both work with the Liquid Acrylic Pour technique, Linda working more with painting within the pours and Cas incorporating her photography with the abstract pours. Catch a 1st Friday Virtual Tour on Peak Radar on June 5, 5-8 pm and a gallery walk designed with social distancing in mind and with outdoor demos and displays for those not wanting to venture indoors on June 19th, our 3rd Friday Reception 4-8 pm.

Linda is teaching a Liquid Acrylic pour class on May 30 and June 1. Go to https://www.academyframesco.com/classes-n-events for more information.
