Gettin’ Loose with Spray Paints!
Join “The ART Lab” artist Andre Eddens for a few hours to learn about the art of spray painting. These 3 classes are designed to teach you the basics about creating art with spray paint and why it is not just a media for graffiti.
Each class is designed to build off of the previous class but can easily be taken individually. Classes may need to be postponed depending on the weather as the class will be held outside.

Cost:
$35 per class
If prepay for all 3 classes, get the Mountains and Water classes at $25 each
Cash or Check to artist.
Materials:
Students bring 5 basic spray paint colors: Black, White, Red, Yellow, and Blue. Any brand acrylic spray paint will work but preferably Rustoleum. It doesn’t fume as bad as the cheap stuff and isn’t the most expensive.
Andre will provide all other materials: paper, brushes, palette knives, stencils, masks, etc. He will also have a variety of exotic fun colors on hand for student use.
Class 1: Space
Learn the basics. Get to know your paints. Learn to create planets and build depth and contrast.

Class 2: Mountains
Use your new basic skills and learn to combine with other techniques to create mountains and trees. Palette knives and some brush work will be introduced for creating definition.

Class 3: Water Features
Building on the use of palette knives and brushes learn to add rivers, lakes or waterfalls to your spray paint pieces.
